    I sometimes get stifled by prayer for this reason: I worry I am whining. So I sometimes don't pray. I suppose i need a brush-up course on how to properly pray so God is not bored/offended or rolling his Divine Eyes.

    Those who believe in God can find consolation in the confidence that God is never bored, seldom (IMHO) offended and probably spends all eternity rolling the Divine Eyes and snickering.

    All the same, it makes it difficult for me to know what/how to pray.
    I tend to use short succinct ones 'help' 'thanks' and 'wow'
