Actually, I am pleased that so many of my friends and relatives (and their friends) have been willing to plunk down thirteen bucks for the privilege of falling asleep over my prose.
I am working on a small marketing plan that will focus on the American Carmelite market. That is very specific and limited, but it is a group with a very high likelihood of purchasing the book. There are a couple of hundred Carmelite monasteries with libraries in the country, and a few thousand lay associates as well. Some of the monasteries also run small book shops and may be willing to carry the book for sale.
Meanwhile, I don't think this will put me into a higher tax bracket.
I continue to work on my next little book. I have hit a minor snag in getting some information on that, but I hope to resolve that problem today.
