Wow....took me a few days to get back to my normal routine!!!
Hope you and Tom both had an awesome Thanksgiving, Michael!!
Ours was epic!! I'm planning on blogging about it while my husband cooks supper tonight for us. His traditional After Thanksgiving Turkey Curry!!! I look forward to this dish just as much as turkey and dressing sammiches and last slice of pumpkin pie the day AFTER Thanksgiving!!
Now we can concentrate on the BEST HOLIDAY EVER!!!! CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
I have been waiting to hear how your UK Thanksgiving went. Tom and I had Thanksgiving dinner at our neighbors on Thursday. It was a lovely meal and we had a good time.
We were expecting one of his kids and family to be here on the weekend, but that got cancelled because of work and &. Since we already had all the stuff, including a thawed turkey, Tom invited the neighbors who had hosted us Thursday to come for another Thanksgiving-type meal today, Sunday. They had served ham, sweet potato casserole and such. This will be turkey and dressing and such. So not exactly a repeat, which is good. If there is turkey left over, I plan to use it to make a Mexican meal. But I have to say, I would love to taste turkey curry.
Oops! The editing of the book is thoroughly complete insofar as that goes. On the other hand, I still haven't done the work for getting the other two stories consistent with the novel. And I am wondering if the novel might not be too plain, maybe needs a couple of more substantial subplots thrown in.
So I'm going to have to say it is not done-done. But it is done enough for me to set aside and let ideas perc in my head while I deal with the other priorities of this time of year.
