~ Gilda Radner
I was wondering what to wear to work today, thinking I would finally be able to wear a short-sleeve shirt. We have had one day in the 80s and a couple in the 70s. Today, of course, we will be lucky to break 50. So long-sleeve it will have to be. Tonight we will be just above freezing ...
At least we did not get hit by snow like Minnesota. We had been looking forward to a visit from Helen, but the winter storm forecast and a lingering cold convinced her to come down later. Just as well, since we expect cool days and lots of rain for the time she had planned to be here.
When I was at Holy Hill back in 1990, I think we had an eight-inch snowfall on May 8 or some such thing.
And thank you, friends who live in warmer climes, but I don't want to hear that you have been lounging in your 76-degree backyard pool for a month already.

We had 2 inches of snow on May 3rd, down here in the supposedly-mild Ozarks. I understand completely.
