I got an email today from the Carmelite Institute, thanking me for all my work teaching in their Distance Learning Program and asking if I would be interested in getting involved in a new online learning program they want to try. I am waiting to hear the details, because I have only a vague idea what might be involved. The present Distance Learning Program, although carried on via email through the internet, is basically a correspondence course. I assume the online learning program will take advantage of other possibilities, including class chat rooms and so on. We will see. It would be more like regular teaching, something I do enjoy.
