Picatsso

Tom has been working on this 30" x 40" painting of a rusty pickup he saw in a field near here for so long that I think the truck itself has rusted completely away.
(I know it may be hard to see what it is, but this is the front of the truck, grill and license plate. Maybe if you squint a little ...)
Anyway, very early this morning he dragged it out onto the table in his office/studio and began to work on it. The cats, confined more to the house by the cold and snow, have become very frisky, and so Sundance jumped up onto the painting. Immediately she realized it was sticky, jumped down and ran off, leaving bright little catprints on the rug. Tom had cleaned it up by the time I got up, but you can imagine.

PS -- You will notice a new photograph at the top of the blog. It is a shot Tom took of the Wisconsin River in the Dells, and it was made into a notecard by the Stewards of the Dells. Hint, hint: Some of you may be getting one ... if I have your mailing address.
