I hope your Christmas break in Chicago is enjoyable. May 2016 in Madison be a new and fruitful chapter in the book of your and Tom's life together.
I have been away from the Southern Hemisphere for most of 6 months on sabbatical in Spain, France and now UK. Presently I am in Oxford among the woods and fields looking over the 'dreaming spires'. When I get home we will continue our green commitment by planting more trees on our property.
