Bug

This morning I took a carload of things to St. Vincent de Paul, went by the library to give them our Christmas card and new address, had a chance to chat with and say goodbye to a volunteer and then had lunch with a friend. About halfway through all that, I began to feel like I might be coming down with something. Achy, bloated, spacier than usual. No fever, no sinus problems. Just blah in body and mind.

After lunch I lay down for a while and listened to a Ngaio Marsh book that I had not already read. Now I am up and doing a few things before dinner -- catching up on Christmas cards, loading the dishwasher, setting the table, tending whining cats. I still feel like something is amiss, and I will probably turn in early and try to get a good night's sleep.

Anyway, this does not qualify as bug catching fun. Although I endorse the idea of a just be happy life. (As far as I can tell, that's a crafty blog?)

Oh, you're so clever. I get the sense that this "bug" passed quickly and that makes me happy, but not as happy as you I'm sure.
