Speaking of Holy Land, once when I was visiting the Carmelite Nuns in Lafayette, Louisiana, Mother Teresa Margaret asked me if I had ever been to the Holy Land.
"Why, Mother," I told her, "I thought you knew. I grew up in Texas."
I got away with it because she was born in Texas herself, but she did have the grace to hide her smile.

In case you can't read it, the sign in the cartoon says "Entering the Holy Land. Enter at your own risk."
Sigh.
