Well, not from the Holy Land exactly, but related. Just wanted to thank everyone for their prayers. Tom's daughter Rebecca and her husband David made it safely home from their Israel trip.Speaking of Holy Land, once when I was visiting the Carmelite Nuns in Lafayette, Louisiana, Mother Teresa Margaret asked me if I had ever been to the Holy Land.
"Why, Mother," I told her, "I thought you knew. I grew up in Texas."
I got away with it because she was born in Texas herself, but she did have the grace to hide her smile.
