What a day

Today, May 19, is the anniversary of the death of Pope Celestine V (1296), who solemnly decreed that a pope could abdicate -- and then did so; the anniversary of the beheading of Anne Boleyn (1536); and the birthday of Malcolm X (1925-1965) and Ho Chi Minh (1890-1969) and ... oh, yeah, me (1950-present).  A motley crew.

[The Joker/jester is there, of course, because he is in motley.]

Deep Peace to You
Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.

So sorry I missed the day! I was completely absorbed in thoughts of Ho Chi Minh!
