At your age that's exactly what you should NEVER eat. The number of calories involved, plus the fats, is horrendous. W. F.
Thanks for your concern. I eat the old-person's egg Benedict -- one poached egg (egg substitute when I make my own) with Canadian bacon on half a muffin -- no American bacon, no pork sausage, no additional toast -- and fresh fruit.
Michael, the sight of the breakfast "killer" made me too extreme in my comment. You can eat what you want. As to breakfast, my wife and I have "downsized," nowadays sharing a Costco roll and each having a bowl of pellet bran with low fat yogurt and some type of fruit (plus coffee for me of course). W. F.
In the monastery for years I ate Fiber One for breakfast. My novices called it "Colon Blast."
