A thought to begin your day
The man who taught pastoral psychology at the University of Dallas when I was a graduate student was fond of saying, "Life is not a problem to solve. It is a mystery to unfold."
One morning I was in a personal dither over something -- something long since forgotten -- and I heard him say this once too often. I raised my hand and he called on me.
"What if it isn't unfolding so much as unraveling?"
He had the grace to laugh.
