Today I will be at the library for my volunteer work, but instead of my usual tasks I plan to set up a display about our upcoming participation in National Novel Writing Month. I have been putting material together all week, and I hope it will come together in some way.
I will be leading two informational meetings this month for people who have expressed interest. If anyone is still interested after hearing what it is, what it is not and how it works, then we will have two sessions in October to get people registered and do some more preparation. Because our library will not be open on Sunday, November1, we hope to have a start-up event on Saturday, October 31 to kick things off.
Then a month of frantic writing ...
