Applying

We decided to make an application for the apartment. What a hassle! It has been so long since either of us had to do anything like this and they want tons of information. I'm the lucky one. I have so few assets it was fairly easy to enter the information, depressing though the numbers were. Tom's situation was much brighter -- much, much, MUCH brighter, fortunately -- but that meant he had that much more information to fill in.

So now we are getting ready to head to Madison and turn in a stack of paperwork, after having already spent a couple of hours doing online forms.

And, of course, it may all come to naught. But whatever. It's a lovely place but it is not the only lovely place in Madison by a long shot.
