Greektown Gyro Potato Chips

Tom and I are both big gyro fans. I think I never had one until I lived in Chicago, but they have become one of my favorite things. There is a local place, Hot Dog Avenue, that has excellent ones, although I often opt for their gyro salad and skip the pita bread. 

We also like kettle cooked potato chips.

So today when I was shopping and ran across Lay's Greektown Gyro Potato Chips, one of their experimental flavors, I could not resist buying a bag.

Well, not so much, we think. It was a good idea, but it doesn't seem to work all that well as a chip flavor.
